On Truqap since Feb. Good results. Early August began feeling fatigue and all symptoms of high glucose but it didn't occur to me what was going on. Finally learned glucose 650! Admitted to hospital for weekend. Now will make adjustments according to md protocol and continue with caution on Truqap. Any comments from others?

I started on Truqap in June. The side effects for me have been manageable. I know that high glucose can be a side effect, but so far, so good. I’ve tried to eat a low glycemic diet since my cancer diagnosis.

ah, yes..hyperglycemia med induced! Your doctor should help you get on meds to lower the sugars and adjust your diet. One consolation is that by dumping glucose into your blood, the meds are working to deprive cancer cells of the glucose they need. Best wishes on your journey of healing and recovery. 🙏

Am working on solutions with onc and regular md. Did not have diabetes before. Have not been officially dx. Have reduced carbs. May have to use long acting insulin but so far no more elevations.
