xeloda and radiation to liver mets

anyone had radiation to liver mets while on xeloda ? Did you stop xeloda during radiation

Did not have radiation to my liver during Xeloda… I kept asking but my onc said the systemic Xeloda was the way to go since my mets were so numerous. (I wanted to reduce my tumor burden.) Xeloda stabilized things for a year, but now some of the mets are growing so I’m being switched to Enhertu.

But I do bring up other, concurrent options every visit! LOL

I didnt have radiation while taking Xeloda, but did have liver ablation. Scheduled during my week off, so I didnt gave to stop the medication.

1.8 cm on average.

Interventional radiologist told me, for Y90 radiation need 2 weeks off Xeloda prior to procedure and 2 weeks off post procedure due to xeloda makes liver overly sensitive to radiation. One of the weeks was usual off week, following 2 weeks xeloda. Best wishes
