Did very well 1st month on Truqap with excellent lab reports. I and my onc were ecstatic. Then side effects started kicking in. Bad diarrhea last 2 weeks and vomiting for unknown reason this past Thursday. Felt bad all day. Skipped the p.m. pills (my last day on med this week). Better now. Wonder about reducing dose? Any suggestions?

I have not been on Truqap yet, however dropping down a level on Trodelvy was a tremendous help. It made a huge difference. My oncologist said at the time Trodelvy was a new med and they were still learning about dosages. Definitely discuss with your oncologist as Truqap is a new medicine and they may also still be learning about the right dosage. Hope it all works out.

You’re welcome! It really is a miracle that you and I are exchanging posts about two treatments that were not available, except through trials, to people with HR+ MBC two years ago, Wonder what new treatments people will be posting about two years from now. There are so many life extending treatments in the pipeline changing the standard care. 😊🙏

Dear Bonnie-----I who have had my introduction to Truqap postponed until and if my critical liver failure is cured by heavy duty chem, am so ready to give you advice. I am scheduled to take half a dose right off the bat. I negotiated that. I weigh less than 100 lbs (94 l bs), from 124 0r 126. By all means, ask/tell the oncologists to lower it. Why suffer when there is a solution.
