I was doing ok until I got cocky and ate a piece of dark chocolate 🍫. HUGE MISTAKE!!! Got a mild case of nausea! So, MBC Chics I will be sticking with my bland and boring suggested diet. Because my gag reflex is already trigger 😖 happy; I don’t need to encourage it! But all in all the day was not bad! Feeling blessed! Xxx

I finished my first week yesterday.I haven't really changed my eating, just not terribly hungry.I still have my two tiny York mints after lunch😁

My nose lining and lips are so very dry that they crack and bleed but other than that just occasional nausea fixing food.

Happy you seem to be doing well too❤️

I'm so sorry that chocolate made you feel ill, as dark chocolate is supposed to have some healthy nutrients in it like polyphenols which are supposed to be good for us. Is this medicine done in an infusion and do you have to have it every day?

Hi love2golfwell , you may not have heard about Enhertu as it’s a new targeted therapy that was just approved in the US in 2022. It’s given by IV infusion once every three weeks. Studies show it’s very effective, but of course can have some side effects. You can find lots more information online if you want to know more.

Thank you. I have heard of it but was not sure of how it was administered. I'm glad it can be effective but sad it causes unpleasant side effects. I wish the pharmaceutical companies could find a way to make meds less toxic but still effective.

I love dark chocolate, light chocolate, about any chocolate there is! I might give up any meds that didn't coexist well with chocolate ! You have my sympathy, love and support!

my cousin was on that drug fro a few months. It made him very sick, but the good news on him is he has no cancer to be in his body but the Dr says no remission. Now that he’s off of it he says he feels pretty good. Yes men get MBC. He’s on my mothers side of the family. He’s had it for six years now. Hugs
