Enjoying trip to Paris! Have walked between four and eight miles a day,avoided metro. Have seen parts never explored before. Plan to pack in as much as I can while I'm ok! Now awaiting oncologist report so I can plan Australia. Have stirred up the hospital and got a response toy my complaints!

That's a lovely pic! Glad to hear you are having a fab time. We didn't make it to the Louvre 😭 - no tickets left on the morning we had allocated! Lucky you.

I booked all important tickets ahead. Ron had never been so I wanted to make sure we got in. Even with tickets they were running late at the Louvre and directed us to a queue which would have taken about an hour to get in. So I played my health card and said I really couldn't stand in the heat that long. Which was true. So they let us straight in!

Both my mother and I can't stand for long periods and without even asking, we were whisked to the front of the taxi queue at the Gare de Lyon, and got priority boarding for Eurostar! Very impressed with the service. My mum also got offered a wheelchair.

That’s a lot of walking , especially in the heat! Amazing how much we can do when we’re really enjoying ourselves! 😄 I was recently thinking about a short trip we took last summer where I impressed myself with my hiking mileage. I’m barely going for walks outside this summer - the heat is just too intense for me

So do I , getting a report is like getting blood out of a stone. I sent a list of issues to the patient liason service and slowly am getting some responses.

I'm so sorry it takes you so long to get reports. I have been lucky getting results quickly. My doctor's office usually calls the day after my scan to give me results which is very helpful. I hope your complaints get you some results.

Great that you are able to walk so much...and Paris is sure a great place to do it! And eat! LOL I've only been there once, in 1987, and I bet it's changed. But the history there, the art, museums, music, architecture..... so much to absorb.
