Lots of good things happening

I received a call from a Nurse Navigator today. We will talk by phone late tomorrow morning.

Also I saw a plastic surgeon today about my ruptured implants. Our plan of action is to replace them with "gummy bear" implants. They are just like one would imagine, soft on the inside with a harder shell. The scheduler will call me with a date for the surgery. I suspect it will be in about a month.

Good for you!! I have gummy bear implants, lol. I call mine "memory foam". They remind me of a tempurpedic mattress. I'm sure you'll be very pleased with them.

Memory foam! Brilliant

May I ask what caused your implants to rupture ? And what kind of implants were they ?

They are Mentor brand. According to the Internet they wear out in about 10 years required replacement.

I should maybe look into that I have had mine for 16 years , but I am not sure on the brand ?

Your surgeon should be able to provide that information to you. It seems that all of the implants need to be replaced between 10 and 20 years.

I will check that out . Thank you!

Gummy bear boobs sound great! :) I'm glad you've got a good plan! :)

I had the “gummy bear insets” too. Much better. Good luck
