Its been 7 yrs so I do not remember specific measurements but when I was diagnosed metastatic I had been sick for a year and had tumors in both lungs, multiple spots on bones, a very sick gal. I was started on just Letrozole which stopped working by the 9 mon mark and had wide spread progression so I was started on Taxol. I only had 7 treatments then had a bad reaction to the dexamethasone premed and it was time for a scan so I had a PET and the results of the taxol were fantastic. It knocked all the spots off my bones and reduced the tumors in my lungs by half! I was started on Faslodex and have not had to go back to IV chemo since!

Hi I got 18 months from Taxol before having to start a new treatment . It worked well at stabizing my liver Mets & keeping my lungs stable. Not as successful on my bone Mets and lymph nodes. But I did feel quite good while doing Paclitaxel ( taxol ) treatments. Luann

Hi 👋 I'm OneLump (I try to keep a positive attitude about my situation by making jokes) I had a positive response in the long term to Taxol in that it along with the other drugs left my tumors dormant & stable, but there was some side affects that didn't last long, thank you God! I have no medical background, but I spent a big chunk of my childhood and most of my adulthood in & out of drs. clinics & offices for one medical problem / another.
