Hi

Wondering if anyone has had Covid antivirals and did they help.I’m getting tablets delivered this afternoon from NHS , 5 days of tablets , daughters wedding is Saturday so I think it’s the way to go, I’m looking for a miracle I think.

I tested positive on Saturday on week off Ibrance and back on Ibrance treatment and injections on 29 th April so 10 days off from now. So hopefully all sorted, do feel a lot better but cough and shortage of breath still a worry with Covid.

Take care everyone

Debra.

Listening for a miracle for you! I have not tried them, but was recommended by my onc to take them.. if only to shorten time off other treatments. Let us know how you get on

OMG I was so ill with them. Took the first morning and evening and felt I was on treatment again. No anti sickness would work. They say you need to stay on them - but my body just could not take it, so I had to stop them. I wish I had never taken them. I was on week three of IB and stopped that and went to my normal 2 weeks rest and restarted IB.

HiI took 3 pills , it was 3 twice a day for 5 days , and have been up vomiting with them, so ill. Omg the metal taste and stomach pain, what is in them. I’m much better after drinking a few gallons of water lol flush the 3 out and no more. Supposed to keep you out of hospital I recon they would put me in. I’m much better anyway, told the Doc he can have them back, I will use my own antibodies.

Take care

My doctor told me not to take them as my symptoms were mild. I stayed on my Xeloda, and recovered fairly quickly.

I know this is too late for you, but adding as a data point for ladies who find this thread later.
