First scan results since WBRT

Good afternoon everyone.

Today I received the results of my first brain MRI since I had WBRT in November and my CT, first one since july.

MRI shows all mets have shrunk following radiotherapy and the build up of fluid that was causing pressure headaches has resolved, phew!

The abdomen/thorax CT shows a reduction yet again of lung and liver mets and scarring to the few bone mets I have in rib and left hip.

To say I am relieved is an understatement, I had these scans 3 weeks ago and it's been a very stressful time waiting on the reports.

I was sure there was going to be progression as my left side that has the bone mets has been aching more lately and my left shoulder/arm also aches. Wondering whether it's the 3 weekly infusions as always left arm due to node clearance on right.

Anyway, onc said with the scans and blood work from yesterday, it appears kadcyla is working well for me, 9 months on it currently.
