My latest PET scan showed no evidence of metastatic disease, but I still have my tumor and it had an uptake of 4.1 which my doctor was not concerned about. She was very happy with my results. I have been on Ibrance and letrozole for 4 years. Does anyone still have their tumor? I was stage 4 at initial diagnosis. Thanks

Wow that’s great news. I’m so pleased you are getting longevity out of Ibrance & letrozole. I was on these wonder meds for two years.

I may or may not have been de novo with bilateral breast cancer, cancerous lymph nodes and probably a non-cancerous tumor in the liver, when diagnosed in 2013.. The sleeping giant in the liver woke up this past year and in February, the nearly 6 cm liver tumor was microwaved out. I feel so good to have that lesion gone. To back up, I was diagnosed as stage 3 at first diagnosis Then, when the liver lesion suddenly doubled size in six months, two of the doctors were suggesting that I had been de novo all long. I don't believe that but that is all academic and not important. Has your tumor grown or are the dugs keeping it at bay? Is it possible that you will be having your liver tumor removed ?

Correction: Cancer diagnosis was in 2015, not 2013. My typing is atrocious.

Good luck. Keep getting scans to stay on top. This combo quit working on me after 4+ years.

Thank you, now my only concern is if the Moderma vaccine is going to cause my cancer that is still in my breast tumor to spread.

Thank you, for putting my fears to rest. I had not read anything nor has anyone said anything to me about it affecting my cancer. It was just me being my anxiety riddled self. I feel like I waited so long to finally get the vaccine that I'm worried something will go wrong. Thank you again!
