Happy Holidays fellow MBC travelers! I just found some articles by this writer, Caitlin Flannigan. She writes for the Atlantic publication. She has been diagnosed with MBC and writes with humor and honesty; putting words to what many of us have experienced.
Thanks for that. Love her honesty. I guess Iโm not racing cancer but the science for treatments. I read another of her articles as well. All the best to you!
So much truth! My mum was the nicest, cleanest living most hopeful person in the world and cancer screwed her over. She'd read that book as had i and so hoped to live a few more years. And being given endless advice by well meaning but unqualified people! Aargh! This is why this website is great. People understhat you can have bad times and you don't have to put a facade up.
Thanks so much for sharing this article. I agree positivity is unlikely to cure cancer - itโs all about the cells BUT being positive helps you live a much better life with MBC.
Thank you! This is just the article I needed today and shared it with my husband. I have felt pretty positive almost two years in (MBC right breast ) but hit a low point these last few weeks. So thank you again it really made me laugh which is also great for our souls .
