Birthday blessing as I take scans this week

65 and continue to strive! Bike ride today in nearby Rhode Island.

First BC diagnosis 2004. Recurrence 2013. MBC 2018 with bone Mets. Ibrance & Letrozole. This is a tough journey and you all help me so much.

Regular CT and bone scans this week and follow up with oncologist next Monday. Prayers and good wishes are always welcome.

It was fine for a couple of hours ( not as good as my e- bike !! ) ... I cycled through Kensington gardens , Hyde Park to Buckingham Palace on a lovely sunny day , but an easy ride as relatively flat ! Beautiful scenery ! x

I tried something similar in my Boston hometown a few years ago to cross from one part of the city to the harbor area. There are no safe dedicated lanes so I’ll not do that again! It’s a better pedestrian city than cycling city.

Ever eaten at Matunuck Oyster Bar? Very pretty estuary view, outdoor dining, good wait staff, and terrific food. Not far from Point Judith. One of our favorites

We used to often visit Rhode Island , love that place , used to get flights direct from Edinburgh uk but they took them off. Many happy childhood memories in Providence and Newport for my son aged 18. Have a lovely weekend. I’m off to South of England to visit my daughter. Yippee. Debra xxx
