I had the same symptoms but I was taking taxotere too. I also had neuropathy , lost my eye lashes, eyebrows, fingernails and toenails (after I was done with the treatment) Additionally, I lost 80 pounds in 4 months because the only things I could eat were dill pickles and 1% fat milk. I tried every supplemental drink that you can think of, like Ensure, and all my favorites foods. Nothing worked. I also developed fluid around my lung, pleurisy, which made me feel out of breath after 5 steps. Once they drained it though, I felt like a new person. Needless to say, I did not do so well with these treatments, but at the same time I made it through. It sounds worse than it was, but no one told me that any of this could happen, so I don't want you to be shocked if it does. I was given creams, medications and did not lack for being made as comfortable as possible. I hope this is helpful and not scary.Andrea
