GI symptoms

I’ve been on Ibrance for almost 2 years and every month my side effects vary. This month my stomach has been very upset and I’m not sure if this is a side effect anyone has experienced. It’s been about a week of GI issues. Anyone else?

I am currently in the 21st cycle of Ibrance (YAH!) I began about 4-5 months ago experiencing worsening GI issues. Not every day, but when I do have them - it's no fun. My oncologist prescribed questran as needed. It is a powder you mix with water and take take up to 2x day or as I do, as needed. It definitely helped. Since I don't suffer every day - this medication is working. May be worth asking your doctor about.

Thanks for the info, interestingly enough it’s intermittent and not every month, it’s always different from month to month with different side effects.

I’m in my15th cycle and this month I switched to taking Ibrance after dinner/ before bed and it has really helped the odd GI trouble.

I take Ibrance in the morning but this week I’ve been waking up with annoying cramps and issues. This too shall pass I suppose like all other side effects. Thanks

You talk about gi symptoms, Are you talking about upset stomach or diarrhea or constipation? I'm in my 1st cycle of ibrance. I was on Linzess for 8 months prior to being diagnosed. I have since stopped Linzess, Which put me back to being constipated. I'm now trying over the counter stool softeners.

Any suggestions?

Nausea and diarrhea was bad for a week and then I took an Imodium and it helped.

I’ve always taken ibrance after dinner with lots of liquids. That does help… though try not to go to bed too soon after taking the ibrance. And when you do go to bed , try to sleep on your left side… it’s better for digestion. Good luck!
