Hi Ladies. My mom had Ct scan and brain MRI on Wednesday morning. So it’s been almost 3 days. Called doctor’s office this morning and results were not in yet. I’m extremely anxious and can’t do anything. Do you think if there was any serious changes they would call right away?

Oh, gosh, AK57 (gosh, that sounds like weapon, I certainly hope that's not the intention!),
I think we all understand the stress of waiting for results...It's truly the worst!
I know that where I go for treatment, it takes 48+ hours to get them and you can't rush it because only the oncologist can release/discuss.
I have no words of wisdom....just empathy for what you're going through. Maybe try to take a breath and make it through to the meeting with the doc?
There are so many treatment options and often it takes some time for things to work. One of my early oncs said "it's a marathon, not a sprint"...
Take care, be well...

I was told that usually when technicians see something really bad they let radiologist know right away so they can read it first and send it out to doctor. I’m worried more than her
I’m worried about brain mostly. It’s her first time. For 2 previous scans they contacted us 5 hours after scan. First was when they found tumor in her breast and the 2nd was after her petscan. So I knew already something is wrong. Anyways, hope everything is stable!
She has headaches on and off,she feels pressure in her head sometimes. But she’s been having this for couple of years now. And also maybe the treatment causes headaches too.5 years ago she had a sudden hearing loss in left ear. Had brain MRI at that time and it was clear. 4 months ago she had Pet scan but it was from skull to mid thigh. I didn’t know that PETscan doesn’t cover the brain. So I asked her onc. to order the MRI.Whole body was clear except lungs. 6 small bilateral nodules. And yes,you are right I need to find a way to cope with this scans from now on . 🙏❤️

I know it's easier said than done, but try to focus on other positive things to do to alleviate stressing yourself. I am glad your mom is less worried . I also thank GOD for these test that were not available many, many years ago. These tests could have helped to save so many sister/warriors who fought the good fight. I do pray your 😇 mom will have great results Amen!!!
It can take awhile for them to review the results, especially if they are comparing them to previous scans. Waiting is difficult, but stay strong for your mom. Keeping both of you in my thoughts and prayers. Best wishes to your mom, hope you get good news.
