Mouth sores

Anyone have trouble with mouth sores? I have magic mouthwash tried olive oil swish salt wash swish even take prednisone for4 days when real bad and dexamethasone rinse

I have much success with Peroxyl. You can buy it at the grocery or drug store. I also avoid citrus, tomato sauce & red wine on my 3rd week of IBrance (when I am more likely to get mouth sores).

I’ve also had success with Peroxyl but my mouth sores haven’t been really bad. I use it morning and at night for 2-3 days and that usually does the trick. Hope that you find some relief because it’s really miserable when it’s painful to eat and drink.

I use Biotene toothpaste and mouthwash , have done from day one, now cycle 6. No mouth sores.Biotene is amazing for me, so soothing , I get it delivered on Amazon Prime same day in UK.

An idea...I went from Ibrance 125 to Ibrance 100 and now barely have them!

I have heard of slipping mouth sore causing pills/capsules into a small marshmellow and then swallowing that whole, to protect the mouth. I've not had to try that myself, but have filed it in my inner list of helpful hints for living with this lousy cancer. I also think asking to reduce the dose is good idea.
