Sorry to hear your news .... I guess you didn’t sleep much last night! Firstly I’m sending you a virtual hug ....

Let’s hope you hear about your treatment plan on Friday and let’s hope it sorts things out quickly.

Wishing you all the very best.

Hi. Just want to give you some encouragement after receiving the bad news. I also have Mets in the cerebellum and other parts of the brain. I had whole brain radiation (WBRT) done in August. 10 sessions. I’m doing well now.I guess you haven’t been told how many lesions there are. Mine was quite a lot, 21 in all, mostly very tiny but there were 3 bigger ones. If the number of your lesions is much less than mine (up to 10 I think), you might be offered (or opt for) Gamma Knife or SRS. I was wreck when I got my diagnosis but here I am 6 months later and doing good. Some of the ladies with brain Mets have done well for 8 years or longer. Someone on this site suggested I join the “brainmets sisters “ at breast cancer.org. That was very good advice and I urge you to do the same. I received lots of encouragement and tips from them. Will pray for you🙏Maria

Hi, I know how scary it’s to learn that you have a brain lesion, and sorry you had to hear it that way. For me, it was found by accident during spine MRI. There were no symptoms. Brain MRI confirmed the diagnosis, and I underwent 1 session SRS. Fortunately, there were no side effects from the procedure and follow-up MRI taken 4 months later indicated that it somewhat shrank. Will keep watching it. 🤞

Hope that your treatment will deliver results without any side effects.

Wishing you the best. 🌺

Hi! Good luck! I just finished 15 rounds of WBRT in December...Had some severe fatigue for about 2-3 weeks. Basically could have slept through January...😂 I think it was more the meds they gave me. Keppra and Mementine.

I pray for you.

Should women with MBC have their brain scanned every three months? I had mine scanned when I was diagnosed with MBC. It’s been a year should I have my brain scanned again?

Thank you

I phoned Dr at 6pm as I was gong out of my mind with worry as he said he would call on Friday. He confirmed two tumours in cerebellum. He made an appt for me on Mondays cancer centre at the radiology dept. But scared of those head masks.
