Prayers coming your way that this treatment will work. Have faith🙏
Oh, gosh, I'm so sorry to hear about this! I hope you're doing okay...
But I'm glad that you and your doc are on top of it, i.e. shifting gears quickly with the ability to downshift again later...
And, wow, 14 inches of hair!?! Mine isn't able to grow more than 3 inches since I've been on Ibrance! I don't know if you've been bald before, but I'll mention that I kind of enjoyed it in a weird way. I thought i looked super cool!
I hope it goes well for you and successfully beats things back!
Best,
Lynn
I hope the chemo shrinks those nasty rains quickly.
You have had a tough year! I sure hope the chemo knocks back your tumors and you can take a big deep breath of relief soon. We are all rooting for you!!
A tough year is an understatement but with God as my guide and all of you here praying and rooting for me, how can I not have positive results. God bless you all, my warrior sisters 💕🙏💕🙏
Yes, I cut off 14” of hair but kept a little bob. But at the first sign of it coming off in chunks, I’ll shave it immediately. Yes, I’ve been bald before but just go out exposing just my egg head.
Thanks Lynn
A little update on my bf of 6 years who left me smack in the middle of diagnosis and told me he didn’t want to deal with it.... has not called me once to see how I am. Good riddance!!!
You are fighting the good fight! And chemo was very successful for me earlier this year, and didn’t even have too terrible side effects....AND I got a wig, and the lovely wig woman offered to shave my head and I almost said yes, but then just asked her to cut it short, and I never did lose all of it, and never needed the wig (though it’s waiting for potential future use)...so you might want to think about that. You can always shave it if you need to later.
