I have a question :

Why pet scan do not show the hands and feet ???

I'm worried. Lately my left hand hurts a lot

If you're concerned, ask your onc. I don't think my CT or bone scan checks hands and feet either.

as far as i know, a PET scan only shows your head to pelvis area...I saw my most recent scan & while I could see my hands, the picture ended right at my lower pelvis area.

is your hand pain something new? my feet hurt like crazy when i went through chemo...found out after a bone scan that i had REALLY bad (undiagnosed) arthritis in both feet. maybe you have something similar?

Are you taking Letrozole?

Letrozole causes joint pains in hands. My doctor switched my medication to Exemestane because the pain was getting unbearable. It was painful to write.

I don’t think that’s where Mets spreads to. Maybe it’s arthritis. Is it in the joints?
