I am thrilled to report that the lesion in my lung is not cancer!!! It is possibly caused by the Ibrance, they used the term granuloma which I don't understand completely, but there is no malignancy. A huge weight has been lifted and thank you again, all you supportive and compassionate folks.
Have a wonderful weekend and stay well...

Thanks for the info! My Oncologist and I have discussed that "rare" side effect several times. I have scar tissue in both lungs from radiation treatments in the seventies and eighties, and asthma (very well-controlled) I always feel my lungs are vulnerable.
My Dr. is planning on talking to the specialty Pharmacist to see if this should be reported to the FDA. That is how they get their data on side effects.
Thanks. I think my oncologist has decided to let them go for now because I am starting on Ibrance and Faslodex and thinks that might possibly stop any more growth.
