Hi there

My hair started to thin after about 4 months on Ibrance so I’ve been having hair extensions since then...I had them removed a few weeks ago and I was shocked to see how thin my hair is now...I looked like a scarecrow...anyway extensions are back in thank goodness!!..been on Ibrance 18 months now

Hi

Been on ibrance for 2 years hair is very thin like barb look like a scarecrow my daughter told me about hair integration it's like a mesh on top then the hair is attachet to it im very thin on top so could not have extentions . There is a good video on YouTube. It has given my confidence back I wash it as normal then have it refitted every 12 weeks. Xx

Not heard of this...I guess if mine gets worse there’s another option although my hairdresser said he can still do extensions...if the top gets really sparse then that should work

Thanks for that...at least we’re still vain!!

I too have very thin hair on Ibrance. My hair looks like it’s painted on😢. I am interested in the hair integration so I shall look it up on YouTube. I hope this is available where I live.

I managed 18 months. My tumor all but disappeared, but so did most of my hair. I’ve been off Ibrance since April. My hair is growing and mostly kinky curly., and very dry. My hair was always poker straight. Good luck if you can stay on it. It works.

I had 18 cycles of ibrance. My hairline receded a little and it thinned but not significantly. I used a caffeine shampoo which I think helped. I came off ibrance In August and my hair started regrowing immediately.

I've been on Ibrance since February. My hair began thinning in July. I've gotten serious about trying to stop it with a concoction of essential oils, hair loss shampoo, fish/flaxseed oil supplements and an LED light helmet. I think the thinning is slowing but maybe it's just wishful thinking. I am very sure eyelash/eyebrow serum is working. I just wish I could buy enough for my head!!

Ugh! All the best to you.

What is the serum you are using? I also have very little eyebrows left.

I've been on Ibrance for nearly 2 years & switching to PIQRAY now. Yes my once thick hair has thinned. Top layer from the crown of my scalp is very frizzy. New hair growth along the back of my scalp is more wavy than before. My hair has grown past my shoulders but looks pathetically sparce compared to OUAT (once upon a time).

Had a question on the switch of medicine. I have been on Ibrance for going on 2 years now. I too have experienced the loss of hair. I have extensions that I can put in and take out at times. I try not to wash but every 3-4 days. But when you got taken off and on another medicine, how do they tell when Ibrance is not working and on to another one. Also the one that you are on now. How is that affecting you? I guess I am so nervous about switching because I have done great with Ibrance , yes I have had hair loss but I know what to expect. I dont know what to expect with something else. I would be happy for hair to grow back.

Your doctor will leave you on Ibrance as long as you are doing well. The scans that you do every 3-6 months, depending on symptoms, are what your oncologist would use to decide if you need to take another drug. Congratulations on continuing to do well on ibrance!

Which dose? I have been on 75mg, letrozole and xgeva and my hair got extremely dry, thin and lost all the shine. When I washed and brush it was so hard and dry. And I put it alot condition but it didnt work. I was so devastated bc I always have beautiful hair until now. I want to cut it all!!!!! But I start looking for things to help me out. So i saw this product but it cost 30 plus shipping and i cant justify the price and then not see results. Then i decide to make the product myself and if doesn't work at least I didn't spend 40 dollars!

Rosemary oil - therapeutics grade

Lavanda oil - therapeutics grade

Coconut oil- non gmo the one I use to cook.

I mix them all and put it in my scalp and all my hair leave until next day or at least 5 hrs. Let me tell you my hair is shine again and smooth!!!!

I also see alot little hair coming up! I have been doing for a month. I used to do it twice a week and now only once a week. It got really soft so I dont need twice a week anymore.

Yep you need to wash a couple time with warm water. Its oil so you need a little work to do, but it worth!!!!

Then put condition and leave in for 3 minutes.

My hair is thinning terribly on Ibrance. It is a side effect. It is getting worse at the front and at the back( like when guys start to go bald).

Horrible. Thinking about getting a topper to cover front and back!

My hair really isn’t thinning just extremely brittle and kinky! I use several thinks and use a hair press to smooth it out, but I’m not happy! Ibrance continues to work, so I guess it’s the lesser of two evils! 🤪
