Good morning went to my oncologist Qct my cancer count is 32, started 119..can any one that know explain it to me

Sounds like your tumor counts are decreasing (which is very good no matter which test you are given) and your medicine is working. I pray the trend continues.

Happy to hear your results. If the tumor marker test is the 25/29, I know that they want you below 38. Mine start at 159 and is now at 22.7. They check it every six weeks for me. Sounds like great news. Have a happy thanksgiving😃

I’ve been on ibrance 75mg and letrozole for over 3 years. I started on the 125mg for about a year and a half, then 100mg for another year, then the 75’s. So they check my tumor markers every 6 weeks. They can vary quite a bit but as long as they don’t keep climbing it seems to make the onc docs happy. Still have my yearly mammograms and pet scans too. Just working on staying as healthy as I can.
