I read something this week that resonated. As we go through this, it easy to get focused on our problems. But we should focus then our blessings. And I’ve said out loud everyday “thank you God that my blessings are bigger than my problems”.
Happy holidays!

Snowcone, you are so right. Lately I’ve gotten tired and discouraged by having to live the cancer lifestyle. So much time spent with doctors, on meds, in tests. My mortality in my face. Often I imagine the freedom of not having this. But I am very blessed in so many ways. I guess that’s the rollercoaster ride we’re on. Working on climbing back to a better place. I think the holidays also bring ambivalent feelings. I’ll have a week off to catch up on sleep and hit reset.
Yes, I totally agree!! Each morning as I am tapping in the shower, I say all the things that come to mind that I am grateful for in my life. It is important to understand that, think it and say it each day. We have so very many blessings to be thankful for. Good for you and thanks for sharing.
Do you just tap out positive thoughts or go through the routine of starting with feelings? I love tapping, I did some this morning before I got out of bed. The morning is when I seem to be most vulnerable and scare myself.
You are so right, we do have many blessings! Thank you for the reminder. It’s easy to get lost in worries. xo
I do whatever the moment and day calls for. Sometimes I a frightned, worried, pissed off at someone, etc. and I tap that out. I tapped at a wedding a bit last weekend because I was a bit overwhelmed wondering whether I would see my three youngest get married. But, when I a feeling ok, I tap in the morning shower (actually every morning) and I tap what I am grateful for--whatever comes to mind. And guess what, you can change that up in the middle if you want. I have discovered astounding things from tapping when really emotional--bringing answers that I did not expect!! Really fun!!
Also Robin, remember to begin by tapping you forgive yourself, love yourself and accept yourself then continue with what is on your mind. You can always end with gratitude.
Thank you, It sounds like you have perfected the art of tapping! I have the tapping book. I’ve used it with my DD and it absolutely works. I love how you apply it everyday. I will be doing it as well. I tapped this morning before getting out of bed. I also meditate, I like Deepak. He has a great healing meditation on YouTube. It’s 45 minutes, if you have the time it’s worth it. I literally go through he day calmer and feeling more balanced.
From time to time I have someone tell me how positive my outlook is. Well, I do try. I am doing much better than what i expected and to God be the glory! However, I have normal fears just like anyone else. I just cannot dwell on them or they could consume you. I keep busy doing something productive everyday. I can't just sit around, too much idle time to think is not a good thing. Find what makes you happy, whether that is something at home you do alone (read, sew, garden, pets, etc) or something outside the home in the company of others. I live in a rural area and my few close friends either live far away or they still work. So Im a bit of a recluse, but it suits my personality ok. Find what makes you happy! Just do it!
Greeeeeeeetings: Sister(s)/Warrior(s) On the rare days that I think I may be having a not so great day. I immerse myself in this affirmation, I tweaked and, made my own. I hope/pray it will encourage others to be grateful, even in times of discomfort and challenge. " My glass is not half empty, nor is it half full. It is full/full abundantly overflowing with all of GODS, grace, and mercy. Amen. Happy Holidays Sister(s)/Warrior(s)
You too sister. May 2019 bring us all health, peace , longevity, the right treatment to live a very long time and lastly the strength and wisdom to get through it all.
