I have been on Ibrance and Aromasin since February. My CA27-29 dropped steadily each month, and my PET scan showed a complete clinical response in July. The next month the markers began climbing but I was told no worries. They climbed again in September and by October had doubled from July. A PET scan showed three small, new lesions on my spine and sacrum. I will have one radiation treatment to "zap" them next week. I will remain on the Ibrance and Aromasin.
Has anyone else experienced a progression breakthough like this, and remained on Ibrance with success? I am frightened (of course, who isn't?) but I want to get as much out of the drug as I can. Thank you!

Yes my markers steadily increased and a scan showed progression in my liver...I’ve had this treated with radiotherapy (SABR) and still on Ibrance letrazole and denosumab
However there’s another small liver lesion appeared so might have to have more radiotherapy which I don’t want but if I can keep on the Ibrance longer I suppose it’s a bonus
The liver lesion was zapped in July and the 3 month scan was positive...it had decreased in size
Well the lesion was there at diagnosis April 2018 but remained unchanged until June 2019....I had been on Ibrance just over a year....however my extensive bone mets have partially responded so my oncologist said she wants me to stay on it as long as possible...I just worry about changing meds
Take organic baking soda! I have spot on my liver benign that it show in my results for several scan. However I have been taking severy supplements and baking soda in the morning and my last test didnt show the spot anymore. You never know if it can help you with the lesions in your liver. And baking soda doesn't have side effects but it can help w constipation too.
I am starting my fifth year on I Brandts 100 mg. I had response regression noted on an MRI, but not bone scan or CT scan. We increased my dosage to 125 mg and I am going back in a month to see if everything is in control. I do you want to stay on this is not as I can. #Livingintothecure
Thank you. Praying for a cure. We are so close! Watch for Car T therapy. There are so many drugs out there and so many options and clinical trials. We just keep on trucking with a chronic disease until they figure out the cure! No one’s life is perfect. Moving on!
