Physiotherapy for side effects of medications
I go to a physiotherapist that is at a Crossfit gym. I also attend their cancer rehab fitness class. The physio is very fitness based. I find this to be very beneficial. On days that I don’t exercise or walk I find I have more aches and pains. Many times I am sore after from some exercises but it is from using new muscles and this goes away.
I am still sore and achy by the end of the day many days but extra strength Tylenol usually relieves this pain.
This gym offers the cancer rehab fitness class twice weekly free of charge to any person affected by cancer. There are 2 physiotherapists that run the class and are available to modify any exercise to meet individual needs and abilities. This class has helped to keep me both physically and mentally healthy.
That sounds like a great program unfortunately we don’t have programs available in our area . I am hoping the Physio can offer some exercises to lessen the discomfort.
