Removing implants!

I would appreciate hearing from anyone that has removed their implants or did not do reconstruction after mastectomy. I am considering removing my textured implant due to the talk of a new possible lymphoma derived from it. I only had one side done and I do not want to replace with another implant. How r u ladies coping without reconstruction?

My mom did not go for the reconstruction, however she about 72. She had one average size boob and one huge one, the difference from previous radiation and weight gain. After they were both removed she would say the scars are'nt pretty but she looked cute in gathered tank tops.

I can imagine it’s difficult. I have an implant and I don’t find that very attractive either, especially since my healthy breast is larger ! Sometimes a sense of humor helps us get through it!

I didn’t have an implant straight away but did after 2 years...it leaked so I had another one which is still there

Mine was silicone and there was a scare a few years back about some cheap French implants but mine is a top grade one and all silicone so I’m leaving it in

I have a young girls boob and an old lady saggy boob...not a pretty sight but who cares!!

I wear a prosthesis on one side and you can’t tell at all.
