Skipping Doses

Has anyone ever skipped doses of imbrance? Or stopped their round early because of side effects? I was on day 18 and that night I had really bad shortness of breath. Now I'm scared the tumor has grown.

I have stopped it 3x. Once early on because of low counts. I skipped an extra week. Then I went to Europe and didn’t count it out right and missed about a week. Recently had a tooth pulled and stopped it for almost 2 weeks. Still here. There was some progression but we think it’s the hormone blocker not the Ibrance. Please let your doctor know about the shortness of breath.

I’ve stopped several times for mouth sores, sinus infection, etc. My dr says the Faslodex is the more important of the two drugs. So I never skip my shots, and I have no side effects from Faslodex. I get a lot from Ibrance.

I stopped all together after 9 1/2 cycles due to lung problems from the Ibrance. That was two years ago and I still have the lung issues. I developed something called Interstitial Lung Disease and get out of breath easily. The lung issue led to atrial fib and I am now on 3 meds I didn't need before Ibrance, plus have to wear pressure knee high socks. Call your onc. Today. Don't wait.
