Higher Temps on Ibrance

I have been Ibrance and Letrozole 100mg now for 8 months now. I check my temp a couple times a day and it always seems to stay about 99.1 to 99.5. IS that normal while on these medicines?

It wouldn’t surprise me as your body is trying to pump out white blood cells but would mention it to your doctor.

Hi. I have just the opposite problem. My body temp runs under 97.0 all the time but I go through phases of chills and sweats even though my body temp stays about the same. I think it's the letrozole which is the hormone blocker myself but my doctor doesn't seem terribly concerned about it and he hasn't steered me wrong yet. Make sure to mention it to your oncologist, though.

I have always had temps about 97.6. Since being on Ibrance, I run at 98.6 to 99.1. I have talked with my doctor about it and she doesn't seem concerned. I also have Faslodex shots and I believe they are responsible for hot flashes.

Thank you so much. Mine tends to go back and forth. I am probably just checking too often. I plan to tell my doctor when I see her, just to be safe.

I never check mine..nobody suggested I did..on Ibrance and letrazole..sometimes I think we can overworry about stuff

I so agree and before all this never worried about things so much. I have gotten better.
