I'm so glad to find an online support group. I've put off finding support for some time but I really need to share. It's late on the east coast, I'm tired and it's a long story....so for tonight I will say thank you for welcoming me, good night and I will tell my story tomorrow.

Hi cat lady ( love the name!)

I’m very pleased to have found this amazing group of ladies as well

They have lifted me out of some very dark places and cheered me up when I was at rock bottom

Barb xx

Also on the East Coast. Two cats here. Rest up. Welcome to this great space.

Kim I’m back I am stubborn. Not optimistic or calm or wise but stubborn. I am fighting too hard to live a good life. My husband has regrouped, and I’m looking at all this from a better more objective place. Thanks for asking. 💕

Glad to hear that. I wish we lived closer. Would love to meet you. Have a good weekend.

Good afternoon Catlady58!

Welcome to the group. I love your name. I am guessing you must be a cat lover. So am I! I am known as the crazy cat lady by everyone who knows me. I love nothing more than snuggling with my cat, Jack, or clients' cats (I run my own pet sitting and dog walking business). I find animals to be some of the best therapy around. Can you imagine if we could bottle them up and get them on prescription? There would be a shortage!

All the best,

Sophie

Welcome cat lady, you came to the right place. Sometimes just telling you story to people that really get it is such a relief. So I hope we can ease your mind a little. Because everyone hear has a story and questions that some one can possibly answer. Take your time we are here for you.

I have a Halloween ritual..I watch the original Halloween movie every year..it always spooks me!!.. bonkers really

It’s more of a ‘thing’ in UK now whereas when i was a child nobody really bothered..now I’m left with a load of chocolate as we didn’t get many trick or treaters last night..so guess who’s been eating them..me!!..

LOL!! I "saved" some peanut butter cups. Guess what I was munching as I binge-watched "The Crown" last night?

By the way, the latest "Halloween" movie has a lot of records broken by Jamie Lee Curtis, its female star:

Biggest horror movie opening with a female lead.

Biggest movie opening with a female lead over 55.

Second biggest horror movie opening ever.

Second biggest October movie opening ever.

Biggest Halloween opening ever.

Have you seen the new one yet? :) And now--on to Thanksgiving and Christmas!! Have a great November, Barb! XXOO Linda

Me, too!! I have a twin sister, and we are total movie buffs. Love anything that will make us jump in our seats in the theatre!! You are our soulmate!!

By the way, both of us were in London a few weeks ago to see the Seattle Seahawks play in Wembley Stadium. It was so fun!! We went with my son, Henry, and his girlfriend. Henry bleeds blue and green, the Seahawks colors! :)

Hope you like London..one of my daughters lives there in Crystal Palace..I find it ok for a visit but would hate to live there..I’m a country girl at heart

Loved London! Wish I could have stayed longer. We were there for a Pediatric Conference sponsored by Seattle's Children's Hospital and London's Ormond Street Children's Hospital. We would have been lost walking around without a GPS though; it's easy to get lost!! :)

Well, my son (28 years old) got the most recent Xbox for his birthday in September. He has loved Xbox since he was a little guy in middle school. Some games never get old!! :)

I've had nights like that, too! And am an animal lover, too! Have been wondering exactly where the normal cat parent and crazy cat owner line is! lol We live out in the country and stray cats keep showing up. We have five cats right now, all rescues of one sort or another. Plus we feed a feral cat who is at least ten years old, very very very old for a feral cat around here, plus two strays that have shown up since the beginning of the summer. And two dogs. Walking the dogs and sitting with a purring cat on my lap are two of the best things ever for forgetting cancer for awhile! (And we keep wishing that vet bills could be added to our medical expenses for tax purposes! lol) I hope this morning is better for you than last night.

Welcome!

So happy you found us. There are so many amazing ladies on this site. We all understand what you are going through. We ask for experience with certain drugs and we can vent when we need to. Looking forward to your story.
