I just have the results of my pet scan to learn that there is no evidence of the bony metastases

I asked the oncologist if she was reading the right pet scan report and if I had not had a biopsy done I would’ve wondered whether there was anything there in the first place so well this is all very good news it’s good news psychologically and intellectually but physically I feel very tired have sore bones and joints and have incredible sweats followed by almost shivers so it’s very weird to be in a Situation where things look good and you feel awful physically

Is it possible the bone pain is low calcium or menopause? I just got diagnosed w Mets to bones and skin. Been getting falsodex and xgeva shots for 2 months. Just started Ibrance and letrozole on Tuesday. I’m stiff and sore the past 30 to 45 days but right now attribute that to the forced menopause. It gets better s the day and walking. Congrats on good scans!!

Are you on any chemo meds? They can make you feel worse.

Congratulations, on the good news. What is your diet or daily routine. I would like to achieve same type of results. My next PT scan is in late May.

Congratulations, that's great news!

What medications are you on? I don't have mets to bones (liver) but the Ibrance and Letrozole give me fatigue, joint pains, and sometimes muscle and bone pain. Your pains may be from the meds.

Congrats on fantastic news. I get hot one min then chills the next. So I think it’s the killing of our hormones to rid of the Mets. I’m finding out this is the hardest time right now in life. You are doing great and go celebrate!
