Yes I’m blessed to have a great oncologist. He’s from Indiana and people come from all over to see him. Good for them bad for my 2 hr wait! 😮. I’m now only seeing him monthly. I hope everyone is happy with there oncologist because he’s the most important Dr. you will ever have. He will call me and tell me my results even though I see him that week. My GP never did that and he is not nearly as busy. The good thing being close to Atlanta you have close good clinics. Atlanta Northside is a clinic in Griffin 5 min from my house! They also got my Ibrance for the first year for 20 dollars, after that it’s up to me but I have a year to work on trying to get it free. Thanks, and know you can get most Cancer meds free, all big drug companies have free programs even if you have insurance. Being a Nurse I found out so much. They will not let you go without Cancer medicine. Good luck!👍

I agree having the right oncologist really shapes how you cope with and view this "journey." I also travel a bit to see my oncologist, but she is my rock and I can't even think of looking for a closer doc.
