Letrozole can leave you with bone pain. I have lower back pain and hip joint pain. Aleve helps with bone pain too.
I do have some back pain, but I don't attribute it to Ibrance. Just finished 2nd cycle, but my doctor does not want me to take Aleve. I take Extra strength Tylenol to take any aches and pains away.
Been on Femara since 2013. No problems. I have middle back pain on Ibrance but also have cancer in my spine. Could be either one for me.
As far as the hip I was was in therapy and walking with a cane. Now limping with the cane. As far as being sick, today is the best day I have had in 6 days. So thankful for that. For the last 6 days I felt like I had a double treatment of red devil.
I found out I was stage 4 in July. Cancer in spine, right shoulder, ribs and front of hips. On Ibrance, Femara, Faslodex and Xgeva.
Oh so your a new as me. I️ found out in August 2017. Has almost 6 years before it came back. I’m so tired and miserable. Hoping it gets better as meds work. I️ also take fulvestrant shots and adivan
Hi there,
Do you have mets in your spine? I do in several vertebrae and ribs. The first few months I had a lot of pain in my back. Now I don’t after 17 months 👍. I like to think it was because the cancer was dying due to drugs and radiation. I think the Zometa is helping to grow the vertebrae back therefore not so much pain. Hang in there! The first few months sucks but it gets better
I was originally diagnosed in 2013. Stage 3. I hope this works for me also and I can feel like enjoying some things.
Me too. I’m treated at Dana farber in Boston. Where do you get treatment? What mg are you on for ibrance?
My major issue with ibrance is digestive tract. I get terrible pain or cramps. Feelis like my intestine or something in there is being cut open. I pass a lot stinky gas. Recently been using so much liquid antacid, helps but not completelyand makes me live in the restroom.
I had back pain and panicked that the cancer had come back in my spine. Had a MRI and all was fine, I was never told it could be a side effect, I figured I was overdoing exercise. I think the powers that be don't know all the side effects, especially since many of us are taking many other meds and they are all interacting differently. But as long as the meds are keeping away cancer I'll keep plugging away. Be healthy.
