Is anyone who get Xcheva injections for bone mets get low back pain that radiates to hip and down leg to knee? I am wondering if the Xcheva is causing this pain. I had an MRI and it really was inconclusive as to what the pain was from. I do have mets in my spine but they are healing. It feels like sciatica I was given gabapentin and PT, if that does not work then radiation to the mets in the pelvic and sacrum area. I was doing great, then this just randomly started after I went bike riding a bit over 2 weeks ago at the same time I had an Xcheva shot.

Okay, not to be scary. I had what I thought was sciatica...radiated down to my knee. I had had radiation 3 very targeted short sessions to my hip in 2019. We did a ton for the pain radiating. Ends up progressed to dropped foot. Insane!!! The whole thing is dizzying...still wondering...how!!!!!
No, it was not the Xgeva. I had no choice but to do rads to stabilize the bones. PT did help my sciatica, but not enough. Sadly, my dropped foot is permanent.
I started Xgyva shots in I think it was Feb. but experienced lower back pain long before that. X rays showed up a Schmorel's Node(?) in my L4 & L5 vertebrae as cause.
