My mom is diagonized with BC stage 4. She had undergone 6 cycles of chemo and now switched to Ibrance with letrizole. However my family is having hard time to afford the cost of ibrance. IS there any way to get this medicine by discount?

Hi, go to Pfizer.com copay help. Answer there simple questions. Up will pop a card you have to print out. As long as u have health insurance and are over 18 and a citizen. You will get it. With this I only pay 10$ a month.

IBRANCE is available through Specialty Pharmacy Providers (SPPs). These are pharmacies that handle medicines that are often not stocked at regular neighborhood pharmacies. Your doctor’s office can help you find an SPP that works with your insurance.

If you need help understanding your insurance or what financial support may be available, our Care Champions are here to help. We can also assist in finding the appropriate specialty pharmacy to fill your IBRANCE prescription. Just give us a call—1-844-9-IBRANCE.

Yes. Contact your nurse/patients advocate immediately. I had the same problem with Aromasin and my doctors office filled out a form as faxed it to Pfizer. They gave it to me free every month. Good luck!

If your mother is in the US and has worked enough quarters and paid into Social Security, she would qualify for Social Security Disability, and after two years on that, Medicare. Medicare and my supplemental insurance paid for Ibrance for me with a co-pay of about $35 for each four week cycle. The place your mother is treated may have a financial person or a social worker who helps patients find all the resources available to them in your mother's area. There can be big differences among the various states. Some much more than others. Good luck to you all!
