I hope that someone from this website lives close to you, but if not the site is a good place to get emotional support and information and ask questions. We're all in the same unfortunate boat.

My breast cancer also spread to the lung. To treat it, I take a targeted drug and have also had surgery and radiofrequency ablation to help eradicate the tumors locally.

Mine came back after 15 years. It sucks. Best wishes.

My breast cancer came back at the 5 year mark. Unfortunately the data now shows that especially for hormone positive breast cancer the risk of recurrence never goes away. I have found it helpful to be a part email support groups. The email groups are able to connect many of us throughout the country in one setting. I have met very few metastatic patients who are within a driving distance from me.
