Hello Annette, I am Christina. I also have mets. I was originally diagnosed 2007 with metastatic breast cancer. The mets were in ribs and pelvic. After chemo the were shripunk good enough not to see on scans. In mid 2015 we found more. I had just gotten done with chemo for mets in my chest and lung. I had a CT and bone mets were spotted. They are in my shoulder, hip, in the vertebrae bone around the spine and ribs. Due to pain I was given radiation therapy. Then I was put on targeted therapy, hormone therapy and bone support injection. That is the short story. If you have questions please don't be shy. You are not alone being metastatic.

Radiation helps with pain?

I had radiation to the bone. It was severe bone pain and after radiation I do not have the chronic pain nor the severity. I was able to get off narcotics and only take Advil once in a while for pain from the same areas.

Hi Annette!

I was diagnosed with MBC last July with bone mets. Glad to hear your treatments are helping! That's the most important thing. Sometimes family members don't know what to say so it causes stress. Pray to God to help u through this time. He's the only one that can fix it all. And He's a good listener.

I'm taking Zometa and had Perjetta for the breast cancer. Now back to normal. Until next time. Lol This was my first time...

-Praying the treatment gets u back to normal!

Hello Annette.....What type of treatments are you on? I'm glad you're doing better. What type of BC do you have? You did very well to have been in remission for all those years! And if you did it once, you'll do it again! That's my wish for you. Kats 3
