Greetings fellow breast cancer warriors!
Please consider participation in this study to bring awareness to chemotherapy induced cognitive changes!!!!! Participation only takes about five minutes!
I am a breast cancer survivor. I was diagnosed in 2019 with DCIS and underwent 6 rounds of TCHP chemotherapy and additional rounds of Herceptin treatment. I also underwent a double mastectomy with reconstruction in 2020. I am now taking tamoxifen for hormonal control.
As many of you may have experienced, I noticed a great deal of brain fog and cognitive changes while on chemotherapy treatment and thereafter. I believe this topic is not well understood, and I would love to bring awareness to the issue, as this symptom is disruptive for many breast cancer patients and survivors.
I am in the last semester of my master's degree in nursing and my research project is dedicated to chemotherapy induced cognitive changes. I would love for us to bring light to this issue TOGETHER in the hopes that this topic is better understood.
If you, a loved one, or a friend is interested in participating, please do not hesitate to reach out! I would love to hear from you and discuss the details of the study. Feel free to text, call, or email...whichever is best for you!
