Hi all first time UTI at age 63 and subsequent realisation that my urinary system function been in slow decline for more than a few years, such as poor flow and not feeling fully relieved after passing urine. Since the single UTI 3 month ago issues greatly worsened, often feel bladder drains down rather than flows out. PSA within normal range although higher than my baseline. Full bloods and finger exam OK. GP refereed me to a urologist 28 week wait on NHS so paid private . ultrasound of bladder kidneys and prostrate. Prostrate shows moderate enlarged 45? Private Urologist initial diagnosis BPH causing but wants me to come in for flexible telescope examination of the bladder, beyond means so now on the NHS waiting list advised 8 weeks. Any BPE self help or other appreciated.
