Automatic breathing stopped

Hello lately I feel as if I can’t breath. I went to the doctor had chest X-ray and they said it was normal. I constantly feel as if every next breath is forced. I have no appetite and I get this gagging feeling. Oxygen rate is 96-98 it fluctuates. Just curious if anyone else has been through this. I can’t sit still as well. Doctors just rule this as anxiety.

"just anxiety" is not a very comforting description when you feel like you can't breath, even if it's the correct diagnosis; you owe it to yourself to not accept that answer without doing something--either about the anxiety, its effects, or following up on other possible causes; can't tell you much more than this, because I'm not a doc
