Have just been told that Brugada's can skip a generation?

Hi all, just had a conversation with my half brother who had his initial appt today to see if he has Brugada's. He shows no symptoms and has been told that he probably does not have it, which is great, but he was also told that he should have the Flecanide challenge to be sure. He was also told that Brugada's can skip a generation. I have not been told this. Has anyone else heard this. Many thanks. Pete.
