Hi Joolsg and Sue thank you for your replies the other day, they were helpful and informative. Went to see Dr Fackrell and he was also very helpful is sending a plan for weaning off Pramipexole and had suggested Buprenorphine as the way forward to my GP. Buprenorphine is on the amber list at my GP practice so am hoping they will agree. So here’s hoping they do and maybe just maybe I can have some sort of life going on from now……..

That's encouraging. If they try to prevent Buprenorphine- ask for a 'shared care' arrangement. Dr Fackrell can recommend, the GP can prescribe and they both monitor you. At least it's amber and not 'red listed'.Common side effects of nausea, anxiety,.sweats & constipation can be resolved.

Good luck.
