I didn't see anything in the article that said to avoid DAs

It's a weak but noteworthy statement: "However, persistent use of DAs can lead to a worsening of RLS symptoms in some people, according to the NINDS."

Good spot.If only other doctors would read this 2020 article from Stroke specialists.If only they'd read the Mayo Algorithm and the AASM guidance.

It talks about a move away from DAs and prescribing Gabapentinoids as first line therapy.
