Hi all, going to see the neurologist on Sunday and hopefully try to be prescribed Burprenorphine. However I've just read that Burprenorphine (opioids) can induce central sleep apnea and may possibly precipitate or worsen obstructive sleep apnea. I have mild sleep apnea and am trialing a CPAP machine is this something I should be worried about?

I have both and it is a low opiate so it’s usually not an issue.❤️🩹
I have used a CPAP machine for nearly 20 years and have been taking 0.5 mg of Suboxone (Buprenorphine) for nearly two years. I haven't noticed any changes in my breathing or worsening of my obstructive sleep apnea.
