Do you know if the anti histamine Cetirizine is an RLS trigger? It is supposed to be non-drowsy but it also says on the box (UK brand name Piriteze) that it MAY cause a bit of drowsiness. Is it one one of the newer types?

I take cetirizine and it's fine for my RLS.I buy cheaper generic cetirizine, which costs a fraction of the price of piriteze.

Thanks Joolsg, only just saw your reply. I’ll look out for a cheaper brand.

I use it. It works great (but limit use to prevent rebound). No problem with RLS. I also started using a saline nasal spray which is surprisingly helpful for sinus congestion.

Good to know! Thank you. I also suffer from nasal congestion, which even steroid nasal spray hasn’t helped, so the saline one may be just the thing.
