I understand that lowering glutamate - like most dietary changes - helps a few but does nothing for others. Reducing sugar and cutting out aspartame works for me, but.....

glutamate is a big trigger for me. I noticed it whenever I'd eat out at some Asian and Mexican restaurants. Now I seldom eat out unless the restaurant has a "No MSG" policy.

Thanks for sharing. I've read similar articles, but not this one.

Thanks for sharing, I have bad GAD genes mentioned in the article, making me trouble with high glutamate and low GABA. The relevant part of my gene test is on the picture. Unfortunately even though I take taurine and theanine mentioned in the article, as well as NAC, glycine and vitamin B3 suggested by nutrahacker, I cannot see much improvement due to these supplements.
