RLS-UK New Film - Ropinirole/Pramipexole/Neupro Patch

RLS-UK is commissioning a new film by a documentary company called SuperFolk Films. They have worked with other charities, including Parkinson's UK.

The team would like to interview and film UK patients currently reducing Dopamine Agonists. Preferably, near the last stage of reduction.

If you are currently taking Ropinirole, Pramipexole or the Neupro Patch and are experiencing withdrawal symptoms, they would like to film the experience and talk to you and your family members.

If you would be willing to take part and help RLS-UK raise awareness of augmentation and withdrawal experienced by patients on dopamine agonists, please send a message with your contact details to debbie.membership.rlsuk@btinternet.com

Thankyou.

Hi Middlesbrough,No one will see this as it's a reply to someone else's post. You will get more responses by starting to write a new post.

Briefly, Citalopram and simvastatin both trigger or worsen RLS. Your other meds should be alright.

So see your GP to review and discuss if it is possible to switch to safer options. For depression, trazodone doesn't worsen RLS.

Read ChrisColumbus posts as he finds he can use an alternative statin that doesn't trigger his RLS.

You are on tramadol and gabapentin, which should help if taken at the right dose and time.

How do you take them?

Has your GP arranged full panel, fasting blood tests? Raising serum ferritin by iron pills/infusions can improve the majority of RLS cases.

Do try to make a separate post.
