please check anti nausea meds before the op. I had metoclopromide once and the side effects were horrendous for weeks after just a couple of tiny doses. My rsl went ballistic and I had tremors for months.

In my experience, as a suffered, codiene in small dose is the only thing that consistently works. Take 2 hours before bed. I am a physician myself but got it prescribed by a neurologist.
If you cannot get it prescribed just take solpedine (in UK).
