Morning everybody. I am looking for a quality CBD oil Any experiences please 😊

I am soon to be starting Temgesic for my restless limbs. Can anyone recommend a good quality CBD oil to help with any restlessness I may experience crossing over from my current Oxycodone med?

I recognise that I may not need it, but just in case.

Also the pain doctor recommended that I occasionally take a holiday from the Temgesic to minimise tolerance issues, (quite how he thinks I can do that, I think demonstrates his lack of knowledge and awareness of Restless Legs).

On the other hand I listened to him and if I can get a strong CBD oil you never know, it might work now and again to enable me to miss a T. dose.

Thank you in advance.

Jane 😊

Personally,I think kratom would be a better option to overtide a Temgesic holiday. Re CBD, most people report that only (legal) CBD is not enough, and one needs a combination with THC (more than the close to zero 0.02%) in the CBD oils available online and H&B and the likes. To get legal CBD with THC you need to apply to the legal cannabisoil project. I know Joolsg applied and got accepted, but not only for her RLS.

Hi LotteThank you for the info.I have heard of that project.

I'l probs stick with your advice. Kratom is effective.

I am going to have a go at swapping my Oxy over 24 hours 2moro.

Hope your weekends starting well 😊

Thanks. I hope your swap works smoothly. How many Temgesic are you allowed to take? If more than one, start with one and see how it works, as it works in about 1-1.5h max. I got very slight nausea the first time, but none after.

I use strong atomiser from Love Hemp, I don't think it can actually replace medication, but it does help to relax those limbs. Wishing you the very best results.

Hi ArkangelThank you for that.

I will give it a go. Do you use Kratom as a back up?

Jane 😊

Jane they have two cbd oils...one comes from industrial hemp...very few canibinoids...pretty much everything over the internet. You need the cbd oil that has THC and Cannibinoids...

I have been restling with RLS for 6 years...regiment of Norco 50 mgs per day valium...etc.

I have been doing a straight carnivore diet nothing but meat meat and more meat.

I noticed after about 1.5 years I was sleeping through the night...forgetting to take my Norco when I went out to socialize...then I would start going through withdrawels and have to take the Norco. My hashimotos went from 150 down to 75...some think thyroid may be implicated in RLS where your antibodies attack the thyroid.

I joined a site "MEATRX.com" it is $14 dollars a month...it is amazing how the powers to be push bark burgers and processed foods and demonize something like read meat...

Folks with all kinds of problems start eliminating there physical ailments. Just by eating meat. It does not happen overnight. I have tried red rush light box red and near infrared box.

It is refered to as biophotomodulation if you do research look it up. When the Norco quit

working and the smily faces went to a 10...i would place my legs on box..pain would go from

a 10 down to 0. Good luck it may all turn out to be a lot easier than were being told...aint no money to be made selling meat as a cure...alot of money inventing new drugs...to sell to consumers that usually compound the problem.

Good Luck

and the best.

One might consider Organic Beef liver to add Heme Iron! Have to take it with Vitamin C too! 😎

Wow, Ert 223 that's interesting and I'm not that surprised. I have hashis and understand prob link between auto immune and rsl.

Really pleased you're in a good place with rsl.

My issue us that Im vegan and would have great problems with eating meat. Especially with the way animals are treated.

Still, food for thought. Thank you too for the red light box info. Will think about that.

I'm with you on the big pharma money making drugs etc.

Thank you for all your info. I will think!

I’m sorry I can’t be more specific but I found an organic, one man band organic grower in Dorset, perhaps search for him? I’ve heard it say with products such as oils and honey, get them near to home as possible so your used to any allergy or pollens etc. For me the added ingredient of THC with CBD made the difference. But the actual act of massaging an oil in can only help!πŸ˜€

I live in Australia - I am prescribed a good strong CBD oil which I don't think I can buy on line. I also have the CBD/THC combo which is even stronger. Each individual needs a different dose - so you titrate it until you feel benefit. I also have been prescribed vaped cannabis which I take when I get a breakthrough case of RLS in the middle of the night and it instantly relieves it - makes the legs go "fuzzy" and makes me sleep. I don't need it every night as the oil is enough mostly. However the ability to get instant relief is very reassuring. I don't get any side effects and feel great the next day.

Hi GoldyHat is interesting. Will see if that's a possibility in the UK.

Thank you so much.

Really pleased you are getting relief. What a journey were all on!

Take care and all the best for you going forward.

Do you mean an oil that you rub onto your legs? Could you possibly tell me the amount to CBD THC in it?Thanks

Paganpatrick profile image
Paganpatrick in reply to Goldy700

I wish we could access that here, currently I believe it’s only available to MS sufferers in Uk. So I personally resort to being a criminal! I smoke cannabis occasionally, I really don’t like smoking! But two or three puffs is enough in the middle of the night to settle me. So a joint lasts ages! I have the recipient for making THC butter that then can be made into cookies or brownies. I’m sorry if this offends anyone but this is a natural plant used in moderation that relieves my symptoms. For me.
