I've been taking 2mg Ropinirole for many years which works. Only problem is timing. Sometimes I get a hit earlier than expected which is not nice.
Has anyone heard of or tried Kratom

Works good for me! You can get it online. The red strains are best for RLS. Good luck!!
I've been using kratom to mitigate my RLS symptoms for several years, and it continues to work very effectively for me. Here are a few things I wish I'd known when I started:
(1) Select a supplier who uses good manufacturing principles. You can find some on the American Kratom Association website (see americankratom.org/vendor/g.... I would go further to select a vendor who uses a third-party lab to check their product for purity, pesticides, salmonella, etc.
(2) Use the lowest possible dose of kratom that will mitigate your RLS symptoms. This will require some experimentation.
(3) Rotate strains. This can help avoid building up tolerance. There are lots of strains out there. I've personally found the "slow" strains to be the most helpful, since I'm essentially trying to calm my body.
Good luck!

I also take Ropinirole along with Pramiprexole. I find it better to take half of the 2mg Ropinirole and half of the Pramiprexole in the morning and the other half at night, I find I'm balanced better by spreading the dosage.
Geelong whats the pramiprexole for
By taking two drugs, it reduced the augmentation I was getting on Ropinirole alone, it meant I could take less Ropinirole. I works well for me but might not for others. I think RLS affects people in so many different ways.
I am afraid that by adding pramipexole to your ropinirole, even when you were them able to reduce your dose pf the latter, you were effectively increasing your total dose. Both pramipexole and ropinirole are dopamine agonists (DA) and work in the same way; pramipexole is the stronger one of the two.
The fact that you have to take morning doses of tour RLS meds, suggests that you have daytime symptoms. These are usually a signal of augmentation. As are reduced time until aympts start again after your have taken your medicine and symptoms spreading to other body parts. If these are the case, you should reduce your overall dose of DAs, and not increase it, as in the latter case you are putting oil on the fire. Reducing your dose will likely induce withdrawal effects, mainly a temporary worsening of RLS symptoms. But that should ease after several days (weeks at most).
What is now know about RLS in general and augmentation specifically, that it is paramount to have or get high-normal iron values. Especially the ferritin value (bound iron) should not just be 'normal', which may be as low as 15ng/l, but should be above 100; above 200 or 300 is even better. Make sure you get your iron values assessed (full panel incl ferritin) and ask for the actual results. If ferritin is below 100 you can safely take otc iron. Iron bisglycinate aka gentle iron is least strenuous on the stomach and intestines. And taking it once daily or even once every other day raises your iron as quickly as taking it three times daily - the normal instructions by doctors. But 3x daily is not nice for your intestinal tract, you'll get constipation.
Hi Geebo you are on two dopamine agonists!!! that doesn't sound like a good idea. I think you will be more inclined to augment using two dopamine agonists!!! Perhaps post a separate post asking for advice about it! Some very skilled and knowledgeable people on here will give good information.
Depends where you live Kratom is legal in some countries but not in others , not sure if this site is fact or not .... some counties still in debate about it , kratomscience.eu/kratom-leg...
Yes I take it every day for pain and anxiety
