TENS machines

Has anyone tried using a TENS machine to set up a distraction on the calf muscles - I tried tonight & I don't know if I got lucky or it was pure coincidence but seems to help?

I tried that a few years back. I was excited as it seemed to relieve the symptoms for a short time. I find that when I try something new it works for a short time and then starts up again.

I've tried it and it made my feet hurt,, maybe I put it on the wrong place I put it on my ankle and bottom of my foot

Yes either side of calf is best

Hi. I to have purchased a Tens machine & have tried it on various parts of my legs & feet. I was hoping for great things (clutching at straws I guess) Sadly, I've felt no benefit from it. After a lifetime of this dreadful condition, I'd cut my legs &/or feet off if I thought it would help. Fingers crossed you find relief with your Tens 🤞🤞

I have used TENS to good effect in the past - the unit I have has a timer on it that gave me a chance to get to sleep without having to leave it on all night. It works but is a bit of a faff to set up and sleep in. Ultimately i got lucky with my drug combination and have been able to dispense with using the TENS.
